Perfect for teaching!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TREETOPS POOL has a moveable pool floor and can be anywhere from 0.5-2.0m deep depending on the program that is running, 3 lane, 25m long, heated indoor pool with diving blocks.&nbsp; The pool is heated from 30-32 degrees so it&#8217;s lovely and warm.&nbsp; Perfect for teaching!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All our pools are salt-water pools&nbsp; &#8211;&nbsp; Great for sensitive skin! &nbsp;If you or your child have sensitive skin or eyes the water is gentle on you.&nbsp; The time while children are young is a wonderful time to start helping your child be relaxed and comfortable in the water. Parents assist their children in water activities, and develop skills together in: Entries &amp; Exits, Floating, Sculling &amp; Keeping Balance, Underwater skills, Kicking and arm actions, Parent Education, Extra carer and child skills. Beginner classes introduce students to the water, while progression through the levels results in advanced classes being able to swim independently and developing basic stroke technique.<br>\nChildren are engaged using floatation aids, equipment and\/or toys. As the children progress from level 1 to level 4 they are taught attainable and challenging skills aimed at broadening their water independence, stroke technique and water safety skills.<br>\nOur classes develop skills in \u2014 entries &amp; exits, floating, sculling &amp; treading water, swimming technique on front, swimming technique on back, survival skills, underwater skills, diving skills, rescue skills and endurance. &nbsp;In addition, school age children may participate in special events throughout the year including snorkelling workshops, distance swims, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LEVEL 5 DEVELOPMENT SQUAD<\/strong><br>\nThis program provides students with an introduction to a squad environment, while not being intimidating for those children who don\u2019t wish to pursue competitive swimming. If you don\u2019t wish to continue, simply cancel your classes before your first direct debit.&nbsp; Easy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to seeing you soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens if you miss a class?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"entry\">Firstly, when talking about make-up classes, please try to attend all your classes during the term so you can develop with the teacher &amp; other students in the class.&nbsp; However, where an absence is unavoidable we offer flexible make-up class and family swim options.<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>To notify an Absence:<\/strong>&nbsp; Open your client portal, go to &#8216;My Account&#8217;, click on your student, select &#8216;Future Absences&#8217;, and follow the prompts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To book a Make-up class:<\/strong>&nbsp; Open your client portal, go to &#8216;My Account&#8217;, click on your student, select &#8216;Makeups&#8217; for the student, and follow the prompts.&nbsp; (Please note:&nbsp; To use a make-up token via the portal, you do need to be currently booked into a class as the system uses your current enrolment to show you make-up classes that are the same level.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>To use a make-up token for a Family Swim:<\/strong>&nbsp; Look up the public swimming timetable at <a href=\"\/boxhill\/swimming-pool\/public-swimming\/\">\/boxhill\/swimming-pool\/public-swimming\/<\/a>. Arrive at a public swimming time.&nbsp; Let customer service know that you want to use a make-up token for a family swim and they\u2019ll expire one of your tokens on that day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Notifying an Absence: &nbsp;<\/strong>Where you know of an absence in advance, please notify as soon as possible via your client portal.&nbsp; Absences must be notified a minimum of 2 hours beforehand to be entitled to a make-up token. &nbsp;This is because if you don&#8217;t notify that you are going to be absent, there is not the opportunity for someone else to do a make-up in your place. Similarly, if someone else doesn&#8217;t notify that they&#8217;re going to be away you can&#8217;t book a make-up in their place. The ability to offer make-ups only works when absences are notified beforehand. &nbsp;Thank you. &nbsp;If your absence is eligible for a make-up token, once the date of your notified absence has passed, a make-up token will auto-generate for you. &nbsp;(Make-up tokens are valid for a HUGE 12 months each. &nbsp;There is no maximum number of make-up tokens that you can hold. &nbsp;Make-up tokens are not available as credits or refunds and can\u2019t be transferred between students.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking a Make-up Class: &nbsp;<\/strong>Bookings for make-up classes is self-service via your client portal. &nbsp;Any vacancy in a class is released as a make-up class a day in advance. &nbsp;So you can look in your portal anytime and see the make-up classes that are available for that day and the next day, and book something in. &nbsp;Make-up tokens may only be used towards make-up classes while you hold an active enrolment. &nbsp;(Note: Holiday Programs are considered active until the start of the next Holiday period.) &nbsp;Once a make-up token has been used it cannot be rescheduled or cancelled, ie. you cannot make-up a make-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Using a make-up token for a Family Swim: &nbsp;<\/strong>The other option for a make-up token is to use it as a family swim.&nbsp; Family swims allow 2 Adults and up to 3 Children to use the pool during public swimming times at Mont Albert North pool. &nbsp;The public swimming timetable can be found online. &nbsp;Simply come in at a public swimming time, let customer service know that you want to use a make-up token for a family swim and they\u2019ll expire one of your tokens on that day. &nbsp;Make-up tokens may be used towards family swims regardless of whether you hold an active enrolment or not.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Private lessons:&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>As per Group Classes above, with the addition of the below.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Notifying an Absence:<\/strong>&nbsp; Please notify absences as soon as possible so that your class time may be offered in advance to someone else looking for a make-up time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Booking a Make-up Class:<\/strong>&nbsp;
