Junior Squash Coaching
Squash coaching sessions for 10-16 year olds.
If you have a child who enjoys racquet sports, enrol them in squash classes. Unlike tennis, you don’t need to worry about getting sun burnt or being rained on:
- It’s indoors;
- It’s safe – eye protection is worn by all children;
- And it’s fun!
Learn racquet skills, strategy, and have mini-tournaments. Great for fitness and fun!
The coach:
The sessions are coached by Nik R. Over the September/October 2008 school holidays, Nik was in Perth for 2 weeks competing in the Australian Junior Squash Championships.
After consistently placing in finals and semi-finals all last year and then winning the Victorian ‘B-Grade division’ State title in September 2007, last year Nik set his sights on competing in the Australian Championships’ Open division.
Nik won 3 of his 5 matches, including three 3 set matches and 2 long 5 set matches. At the end of the week’s play he was ranked 19th in Australia! Well done Nik!
Session Time:
- Mondays 4.30-5.30 pm
Session Prices:
Pay per session: $18.00/session
Pay per school term: $17.00/session, which includes 1 hour per week unbooked court hire during off-peak squash times for practice.
