Inhouse Squash Competition
Play regularly with our inhouse competition.
This is an individual, graded, mixed competition with a strong social tradition. Players are graded from novice to expert, with two seasons played per year.
Players are fixtured to play a different opponent each week, and are allocated points depending on the game score line, which are used to rank players in a ladder. The top four players from each grade go through to finals at the end of the season.
Matches are generally played on Thursday nights, but other nights can be arranged.
The last Thursday of each month is also ‘Supper Night’. Everyone brings something to nibble, and stays back to chat with the other players in the competition.
How do I join the inhouse competition?
The first step is to phone reception to arrange a grading match. Once we’ve worked out what grade we think you’ll fit in with, and you’ve had a hit with someone in that grade, you can join the competition straight away.
Our Squash Club Co-ordinator is available Thursdays from 7.30 pm-10.00 pm and Sundays 9.00am-2.00pm. If you phone and leave a message, she can return your call during this time.
Price:
$14.00/match
($4.00 per week of the season is paid in advance to join the competition. And then you pay $10.00 per match.)
