We are now preparing to go to VCAT where we will be able to discuss and negotiate the proposal for improving and expanding our facilities.

Healthways was recently contacted by firefighters in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, to help them develop a water safety education program for their local elementary schools.

To help spread the word about mental health, documentary maker Olivia Appleby took her video camera to “The Art of Giving” event and also interviewed some contributors, including Healthways. Check it out here.

The ‘Vietnam Vision Project’ began doing free cataract surgery for impoverished people in rural areas of Vietnam in 2003. Since then, they’ve also visited Cambodia to offer general health checks and eye checks.

‘The Art of Giving’ is an art exhibit to raise money for a new Mind initiative, Ambasadors of Hope, where past and present Mind clients can share their experience in a positive forum for discussion about mental health.
